We have another sweet GTI in for parts this week at Das Parts. This GTI has a bit of rocker panel damage, and the interior isn’t fully together, but outside of that this rocket has a bunch of great parts in amazing condition. The engine starts every time, runs well, and the turbo pulls hard. The manual trans shifts freely through all 5 gears without any noise or hesitation. The body has some highlights and lowlights. The front bumper has a bit of damage, but is still useable. The fenders both have a bit of rust on the bottom of the dog-leg, the RF being in slightly worse condition and also having a small dent. The hood and LF door are both very clean in great shape. The hatch is 90% clean with just a bit of rust starting up in the middle of the bottom edge, it would be a great unit to replace an entirely rotted unit on a budget. This specific car also has FK Streetline coilovers with less than 2years of use on them. They are not at all blown, but they do have some surface rust on the front struts and do not have the adjustment keys. This car also has a 2.5” Magnaflow catback exhaust system. The tires on this car are winters with less than 5000KM use, in very good condition.
