We have our first GLI at our new location in for parts! This GLI is a beautiful Blue Lagoon color that has been recently repainted and is in great shape! This GLI was an original 1.8T 6spd car, but it has had a 24V VR6 engine with the corresponding 6spd manual trans swapped into it. The engine runs fantastically but does have two small issues. Roughly 8000KM ago the timing chains were replaced, but they were placed off by a tooth. While performance is not affected, it does trigger a permanent CEL. The clutch was replaced at the same time with a Stage 1 Clutchmasters unit, which the release bearing is now making noise. There is also a full sound system in the vehicle including a Rockford Fosgate Subwoofer, 2 amps, and full door speakers. The car also has coilovers and a few other minor modifications.
