We have in for parts this week a 2001 Golf with a bunch of cool modifications and upgrades! The Golf started life as a 2.0L and was swapped over to a 1.8T at one point in its life. We have no knowledge of when, how, or at what mileage. The engine does have low compression, a faulty harness, a bad MAF, and a few other issues making the engine good for parts only. The transmission shifts very well and the clutch feels clean. The car has a bunch of modifications including GTI Recaro seats, ST coilovers, a rear sway bar, full exhaust, cold air intake, front mount intercooler, Forge TIP and DV, Glass lens Depo headlights, Depo taillights, shaved hatch, and more. The body is rather clean with only minor flaws for the most part. Both front doors have ice buildup damage. The front fenders and hood have been previously replaced.
